Design
All the design elements we integrated drew inspiration from Greek designs. The cross’s distinct shape mirrors that of the Greek cross, known as Crux Quadrata, with all three sides equal and a longer stem.
Materials
We obtained the stone from the region in Greece where the client’s loved one was born. We used borosilicate coloured glass tiles to infuse vibrant hues into the design.
Mock Up
Illumina created a mock up of what the monument might look like for the client. We then proceeded to create CAD drawings of the design, stone sampling and 2D drawings of the emblem.
Manufacturing
Using specialised tools, we etched letters onto the surface, and a bronze Greek emblem has been crafted.
Final Product
The end result was a tribute to our client’s loved one that authentically reflected his essence. From the choice of stone to the intricate etchings, this monument resonated with our client and epitomised the meticulous care and thought we invest in creating personalised memorials that align with your precious loved ones.
