Artpiece co-designed and collaborated with Kojonup Women’s Healing group and Illumina Design
The Kodja women’s healing workshop art piece is a representation of the Stolen Generations.
- The large circle represents Kojonup (Kodja) community where the fresh water runs through it.
- The two other circles represent the missions Carrolup and Marribank.
- Where children were placed after being taken from their families.
- The art piece acknowledges the families that lost their loved ones.
- This piece brings together kindred spirits who believe strongly in the power of healing.
It was a collaboration of 15-17 Noongar contributors.
